Extra ferry service added during overnight bridge closures!
Washington State Ferries has announced it will operate extra evening and early-morning sailings on its Clinton/Mukilteo route, during the five nightly closures of the SR 20 Deception Pass and Canoe Pass bridges.
Extra sailings July 12-17:
- Leaving Clinton at 9 p.m., 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30 a.m.
- Leaving Mukilteo at 9:30 p.m., 2, 3 and 4 a.m.
These sailings are in addition to the regular schedule.
The nightly bridge closures are part of the SR 20 Frostad Road to Sharpes Corner paving project. The bridge work is weather-dependent. The start of bridge-deck repairs could be delayed a week or more due to rain or cool temperature forecasts. If the bridge work is postponed, the additional ferry service will be shifted to coincide with the adjusted bridges closure dates.
