This key position provides the day to day and ongoing IT support for our small, growing company. It offers a wide range of IT experiences across the company’s web marketing, retailing, sales and manufacturing operations, providing a unique blend of hands-on support work as well as the opportunity to help guide the IT planning and thinking. This position is the sole IT professional in the Company, reports directly to the President. , and is based out of our Anacortes location, with occasional visits necessary to our Woodinville and Seattle locations.

Requirements: Working knowledge of: middleware, licensing, operating systems, desktops, servers, multi-platform networks, backups, security admin, antivirus, UPS, RAID, EDI, OOP, RDBMS, OSI, ERP, TMS, POS, and VPN. 5+ years of IT experience, 3+ years of scripting or programming experience, Problem solver, Strong ability to work effectively with others across the organization, Reliable transportation and the willingness to work at multiple locations, Lifting requirement of at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Single point-of-contact to receive coworkers’ internal requests; analyze, categorize, estimate, and prioritize accordingly, reporting major projects to leadership.
Plan, design, implement, maintain, and upgrade systems and applications in support of various business needs
Research new techniques and recommend changes that improve upon the current environment.
Troubleshoot and repair damaged equipment (servers, desktops, printers, network)
Perform moves, adds, changes, and maintenance activities for desktop/laptop computers, telephones, and printers.
Install new equipment for users and replacement of non-functioning equipment.
Educate end users regarding computer and software operations, including basic how to’s and best practices.
Performs network troubleshooting.
