It’s no secret that Oak Harbor loves its schools. From private to public, early childhood to post- graduate, Oak Harbor’s investment in education is evident. The town continues to place a strong public school system at the forefront of community investment including a new $9 million dollar sports stadium that was completed in the fall of 2007 and a $72 million dollar high school renovation scheduled for completion in 2010.

K-12
A great education begins with a solid foundation. In Oak Harbor students learn at the hands of dedicated and enthusiastic teachers. Oak Harbor boasts a graduation rate of 88 percent, well above the state-wide average of 79 percent. Oak Harbor public schools consist of five elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school and one alternative school, and is also home to Oak Harbor Christian School and North Whidbey Christian High School which focus education on academic excellence and Christ Centered Learning.
